On Thursday 19 January The Soviets appeared on the BBC regional news show Look North where they were shown playing a gig in a fan's kitchen. Sue Dobson, a dedicated fan and regular attendee of at their gigs throughout the country, had paid for the privilege of hosting the band in her own house as part of the Pledge Campaign to raise funds for the recording of their upcoming album by offering various incentives.

We are pleased to announce that we have reached our Pledge debut album target. Many thanks to everyne who had taken part and pledged - we are really grateful. Pledge have told us that we can keep the campaign going, which means that you can still be among the first to own "You Are Not the End of the World". Also, half of the money that comes in now goes to Cash for Kids, so if you haven't pledged yet, pledge now!

The Soviets will be touring to support the launch of their new album "You Are Not the End of the World". Check out the dates so far below - there are more to be added!

The Soviets have had a song chosen to be played on the Amazing Rock show on Amazing Radio! The show is on Saturday 30 April at 6pm, repeated next Monday at 7pm. Amazing Radio is on DAB Digital Radio, about six clicks to the left of Radio 1 and is available to stream over the Internet at www.amazingradio.co.uk, where you will also find their Rewind service in case you miss the show live!
